At HAUS OF SMELL, we don’t use traditional alcohol in our perfumes. Instead, we use Isopropyl Myristate—a plant-derived emollient that gives our oil-based perfumes their signature silky glide and quick absorption.

It’s not a drying alcohol. It’s made by blending isopropyl alcohol with myristic acid from coconut or palm oil, resulting in a gentle, non-greasy liquid that feels like a lightweight oil—not like alcohol at all.
